I love a heartfelt slice of life documentary. When done well, they’re a joy that sticks with you for some time after viewing for the first time.
Case in point, Dina. In October I reviewed the film for The Upcoming and gave it five stars. Dina follows Dina Buno, a 49-year-old woman planning an upcoming wedding with Scott Levin. Dina and Scott both have Asperger Syndrome, and Dina lovingly and refreshingly depicts an ordinary romance between two people from an oft marginalised parts of society.
